POST IT

POST IT

Valentine's Day hijinx, courtesy of (what else?) The Internet.

Making Valentines out of doilies and Elmer’s Glue is so fun, but who has the time?  So Paperless Post, the e-letterpress for sophisticates, is kissing each and every NYLON reader with 35 free “stamps,” making it easy to email valentines to your friends.  Even better, they’ve designed dozens of V-Day card options, allowing for countless ways to mix your eco awareness (save paper!) with the need for candy hearts (look cute!).

Aside from the huge selection of graphics, these high-tech valentines offer “Wording Assistants,” suggestive text templates to tweak your “I like you” message.  Our favorite: A card reminding your valentine that he’d better not screw up your big day. (“Favorite” in this sentence means “passive aggressive and hysterically psycho.”)

Stay green, save a little $, and, of course, share some love.

P.S: Want to send a Valentine to a secret crush? Here’s how: 1. Create an alias email to use when signing up with The Paperless Post. 2. Don’t tell a soul… everyone’s got a big mouth.

This is cool, but nothing beats the fun and uniqueness of classic handmade valentines.
