CAT POWER

CAT POWER

Go wild with leopard print lip gloss.

This morning, we tried to count the number of times leopard print showed up in the January issue of NYLON. By page 54, we gave up. Whether it’s pea coats or push-up bras, we can’t get enough of the feline pattern.

Which might explain why, for the past few months, we’ve been in agony. When Mark Cosmetics sent over a bag full of spotted lip glosses back in October, we freaked out. Then we learned that they wouldn’t be out until 2010, and it took all of our strength not to spill the beans.

Now they’ve officially launched, which means that you can freak out, too. The three shades of Pretty Wild are actually quite tame—there’s a subtle nude (“Honey Child”), a rosy coral (“Hey Baby”), and a shimmery pink (“Candy Fix”)—but it’s the leopard print tube that makes us purr. That’s not all: The spots covering each gloss might distract you from the fact that there is actually a tube-within-a-tube, one with lip color and another with a clear shine. One squeeze gets you a bit of both.

Hello, kitty!

I love them. "Hey Baby" it's my favorite. Can you tell me where can I find the yellow blouse the model is wearing up in the "cat power" image, please?
