you guys are haters, i love hillary duff. she used to be such a role model when i was younger, and i see she's earned her way in the spotlight without degrading herself (unlike all other disney stars who become more famous for scandal than talent). she's great :) she's also really pretty.

What the heck? This is really detracting from my image of Nylon. What ever happened to people like Sienna Miller? Or even the Olsen twins? Actual style icons, with things to say? Hilary's obsessed with herself, as you can tell by the video. And the last thing I've heard of her were those Lizzie McGuire movies... and that was years ago. At this rate, Miley Cyrus will be on the front cover. And then I will stop getting subscriptions. It seems like you're trying to appeal to a different crowd... I'm not a fan. At all.

woah haters settle, I actually love hilary Duff she always seems so comfortable so who cares if shes "boring" or a former disney take the interview for what it is. The girl has awesome style as well. Hilary Duff was and still is my role model. Nylon is appealing to a new crowd and its working but their not changing their style or "selling out" so get real people! Their job is to sell magazines and having familar faces on their magazines sell. So suck it up!

I thought it was great. Hillary might not be my favorite, but she's cute and herself. i enjoyed the video. Well said Jenna. For me...I guess i didn't know there was such a thing as "NYLON material". I like to think of NYLON as a magazine that is open to many types of styles, clothes, and covershots. That's why i read it. I'd hate to start labeling everything as "NYLON material", it's a pretty close minded concept.

I love when people complain about people giving interviews; how all they talk about is themselves. They're giving an interview, about themselves. What would you like them to talk about? People keep saying Duff isn't a great "fit" for Nylon, which I don't even know how to respond to. I've always thought Nylon was kind of all over the place, incorporating anyone and anything... and as far as her personal style, she's worn table cloths as scarves, has a line with DKNY and generally has a very distinctive look... Idk. I think she's come a long way and has a certain presence about her. BUT WHATEVS

i was at Barnes and noble today, and there were a bunch of 13yr old fresas sitting around and texting, and i really wish i was lying, but they had teen vogue, j beat or whatever, a spanish version of j beat (with miley on the cover)...and nylon. my heart broke. stop breaking my heart.

As most of us did, I had to double take at the News stand at this months Nylon. Also as most of us did, it was not in a good way. Whatsoever. I agree that it seems Nylon is taking some strange turn in a direction I've naturally strayed away from. We used to be in sync Nylon. I can't quite figure out if it is because you are trying to broaden somethingor not, But you've always been pretty dead on to what was worth discussing/knowing about. If you are going on a slightly new path, hopefully you'll be considerate enough to enlighten us loyal subscribers via editors note or something. You've had the empirical formula for the last ten years. Don't screw it up.

Going to take this moment to recommend the band Tokio Hotel for a future cover. They aren't mainstream whatsoever in the US, and their band aesthetic transcends all genres of music and style. I saw that you're going to do a small feature in Nylon TV about Tokio Hotel, and I'm stoked for that. ♥

I completely agree with lara, on the subjects of this also Cory kennedy.. Seriously what a drip, its hard enough to find it in my town in ENGLAND I make the effort, we want style icons people that will inspire us not make us not want to Search the many corners of england to find nylon! :)

There's no such thing as originality.

With a name like Plumbrs Crack, you would think she's lame. Talk about originality. She's gorgeous,and like her new album's title she carries her self with dignity, unlike some of the other former teen actors.Keep it up Hilary and ignore these idiots with the negative comments.

I think Hilary Duff WAS a disney star and is NOW a role model for so many young girls. She has a cute style, she always knows what is in and what is not. If I would buy a girl magazine and they'd tell me that purple hats are in now, i would definitly find a picture of hilary duff with a purple hat and that picture would be 1-3 weeks old. but i don't think that i have to prove that to all of you haters. i mean if your idea is "this month i buy the nylon mag, that i now what is in that i'm the fashion queen in school" then i have to laugh. and then tell nylon that hilary duff isn't their style? go over it, gosh! =P sorry for my bad english =(!
