California's coolest gets a new pop-up shop!

As many of you know, gift giving is an art form. The perfect present needs to be cool but also cheap, a difficult challenge. That often leaves us settling for an average, even predictable gift.

Los Angeles mini-shop Keep x Ooga Booga is here to make our quests a little easier.

Known for its selection of independent books, music, and fashion, Ooga Booga is extending its quirky charm to holiday shoppers beyond its Chinatown location. They’re selling select products in a shop-within-a-shop at Keep, a trendy vegan footwear store in Fairfax, California. For the holiday season only, the collaboration offers an assortment of gifts that generally don’t top $100.

Its unique selection is chosen with a little help from some big names, to say the least. Opening Ceremony founders Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, Rodarte designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy, and No Age members and Dean Spunt and Randy Randall have personally selected products featured in the store. So if you pick out a Fjallraven Kanken backpack or a Calvin Johnson mixed tape, it’s been approved by someone who knows their stuff.

Gift hunters of LA, your hunt is over. Now the rest of us have to get looking.
