Watch out, America: Wild Beasts are making their stateside debut.
Good bands either kill it in the studio or onstage, but rarely do they conquer both.
Which might explain the buzz surrounding Wild Beasts. Not only has the British four-piece released one of the best albums of 2009 (Two Dancers, which we raved about here), but they’re also known for their intense live shows.
Too bad no one in the US could enjoy it; despite playing together since 2002 and releasing two albums, Wild Beasts have only made it to our shores for two very short trips to Austin and New York City.
Which makes their cross-country tour in 2010 a must-see. From Los Angeles to Minneapolis to Washington, DC, the band is finally sharing their soaring, spinning, naughty schoolboy songs to the American masses. But make no mistake: It won’t last long. The entire 12-stop tour spans just two weeks in February.
So clear your schedule, order your tickets, and play Two Dancers on repeat—this is one show you’ll want to be ready for.
