Okay, fixed the problem. I dragged the "download" icon to the "redeem" space, and found a url. The end of the URL contained the code. So now I have 27 new, brilliant songs! Thanks, Nylon :)

The iTunes link generates a different code for everyone via a http link. Right-click the iTunes link, copy link address, then paste into new tab and copy the code at the end (mine was NF6TX63TXN9A, yours will be different) and paste this into the Redeem section on iTunes (top right on iTunes home). If it says it's been used try it in another browser (Safari, Firefox, etc).

heres a little advice for the people from the U.K and Canada:
to get the playlist go to your itunes store then scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see "Manage" then click on "Change Country" then chandge it to the USA then it try to redeem it again it should probably work.

To recieve the free songs, you must click the Gray colored Download button, and another window should pop up. If it takes too long to load, look in the adress bar and copy the code at the end of the URL. It should say "code=..." redeem the code on itunes. If you are from Canada or some place other than the United States, go to the bottom of the itunes store page, click the link under Manage that says "change country" and click the United States, try redeeming your code. hope that works!

And for all the internationals having trouble downloading, I know you can switch countries at the bottom righthand corner of the itunes store main page (just click the little circle with the flag pattern). Try switching your country to the U.S and then downloading it? Hopefully that'll work! :]

Guys out side the US: if you click on the little house icon in the store, then scroll to the bottom, you'll see which country you're in. You can temporarily change to the US store to download it, then switch back to the UK/Canada :)

It took me a week to figure this out but here is how you do it,first right click on the "Download on Itunes" icon,then choose "open link in new tab",now look on that page above at the URL,it should say redeem/and a bunch of numbers and letters,THAT IS YOU CODE,open up itunes,click where it says redeem and enter that code. For non-U.Sers,just create a new Itunes account with a different email,and pick U.S. as your country,that should work!!!!Hope I helped!!! Merry XMAS

I love this offer, and tried downloading the new iTunes that came out this summer. It says it's worked (I've done this six times now) and tried taking the code at the end of the http address, but iTunes still tells me that I haven't downloaded the new version of iTunes! HELP!

Right Click the itunes link box and click "Copy Link Location" once you do that open a new tab and paste the link in there. At the end there is a code copy that code and paste it into the redeem button on itunes. the codes will look something like EMRWJK3LA3R4

This playlist is awesome. I love that Nylon gives free music. For those in other countries: try switching the home country, it'll work. I get loads of UK podcasts that way. It's probably just too expensive/ laborious to get licensing for these tunes in countries outside the US, which is why it's only available here.
