SNAKE ATTACK

SNAKE ATTACK

Cobra Starship's front man follows his granddaddy Pete Wentz into the world of street wear.

Cobra Starship wants to dress you, or maybe your boyfriend.

In the midst of promoting their third album Hot Mess (not exactly a great visual to start), lead singer Gabe Saporta tests his chops in the world of skateboarder-y sportswear.

Partnering with streetwear Company Glamour Kills, the frontman creates Overnight Sensation, a collection of six tees special to the brand’s casual merchandise. This collaboration isn’t their first time working together; Saporta created a limited edition Cobra Starship tee for the brand a few seasons ago.

Though the original is long gone, you can find Overnight Sensation online ranging from $18-$25.  Are the clothes better than Pete Wentz’s attempt for DKNY?  Only time – and shopping teenyboppers – will tell.  But we’re hoping the band’s honorary member, Leighton Meester, sports a shirt next week, when she gives her first public concert in NYC.

Is the band that made the snakes on a plane song? I guess those tshirts are cool for what they are.
