A few years ago, Moncler was known mostly as a puffy jacket purveyor, the Euro equivalent of North Face or South Pole.
But after a string of Paris Fashion Week fetes, a spinoff line with designer Giambattista Valli, and a clever ad campaign starring the legendary photographer Bruce Weber, the brand's become a bit more than a ski staple.
Witness their latest collection, modeled by supermodel Sasha Pivovarova and featuring cocoon-like dresses better suited for Roisin Murphy's music videos than a weekend trip to Vermont - although, now that Karl Lagerfeld has a house there, a few more puffy couture creations can't be far behind...
