WE NAILED IT
A DIY approach to Chanel's 2010 manicure.
Chanel’s new nail color showed up during their recent runway show, along with sky-high clogs and Lily Allen. The color, called Particulière, looked great alongside the brand’s well-known tweeds and clutches. Designed by their makeup director Peter Philips, the new shade has a purple base with gray and brown undertones.
The polish should be hitting stores in January 2010, but we couldn’t wait three months, so we mixed our own. The recipe, bought today from Duane Reade.
Main color: Daniella’s Curve (#413) from Brucci
Add: Explosive Meteorite (#429) from Brucci
Mix a drop of: Chinatown (#210b) from N.Y.C. Color
Add: French White (#449c) from Wet ‘n Wild.

i like the color ,we will see how it will turn out :) i like that i can choose cheaper alternates. like M.A.C. Cause you know, their is still a money crisis in the world today :)

You can get an amazing muted purple color at Sephora right now in shine and matte finish!
almost the exact same color.

Sephora carries an Opi shade called 'Metro Chic' that's very similar to this.

oh geez,this color is pretty out there..i made my own version and it turned out PRetty awesome,although i didn't follow the instructions i kinda just Frankensteined everything.looks good though!

Are you freaaakkiinnngg SERIOUS?! ALL THAT FOR A SIMPLE COLOR. It's nice and all but DAMN. Still a bit much and a bit unnecessary! I like the MAC color wayyy more anyway.

I bought the OPI color over the summer at a flea market for so cheap. Already on my second bottle cause I love it that much (and my roommates did too). Goes with everything in the perfect way.
