MAKE A STATEMENT

Bags that have an even bigger mouth than you.

Dyeing your hair purple or teetering around in six-inch heels will get you attention, but Jessica Kagan Cushman’s bags are an easy way to make a statement.

The totes, overnighters, wallets, and clutches say things like, “Contraband”, “WTF”, and “Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination”. Throw in neon straps, ironic imagery, and graphic prints, and you’ve got a bag that will get you looks without ever having to open your mouth.

Which isn’t to say that Cushman doesn’t know the art of subtlety; her series of astrological scrimshaw bracelets are simply out-of-this-world. But for times when you want your accessories to do the talking, there’s nothing better than a tote that reads, “Keep calm and carry on.”
