Can't afford Sally Hershberger's $800 cut? Get the hair stylist in a bottle.
Sally Hershberger is definitely not a woman of few words, but nothing gets her going like a bad hair gel.
“I’ve been working with products for over 10 years. It would be on the beach with Tatiana and Cindy, and it had to last, even with salt water on the beach breaking [the style] down,” she remembers. “I’ve never found products that work for me the way I want them to.”
So finally, the stylist to the stars decided to make one herself. The latest addition to the Sally Hershberger line is the Luxe Layers Blow Out Gel. Unlike other straightening products, this helps detangle, protect, and add shine to hair. It even manages to cut out the kink in the curliest of tresses without leaving them fried.
“What’s genius about this,” says Hershberger as she spreads a small amount of the Blow Out Gel through her model’s locks, “Is you get body with shine. I like products that give guts to the hair, but [also] shine. You don’t want flat, tired hair.”
Instead, you get stick-straight hair at full volume that lasts for days, no need for in-between touch-ups once humidity strikes. Though the product gets its official debut next week on HSN, those who can’t sit in front of the TV all day (or really want to get their hair straight ASAP) can log-on now for the newly-released Blow Out Gel.
In fact, the only thing that seems to leave Hershberger speechless is the result of using her new gel. “[Hair] moves. It swings. It’s heaven. That’s all I have to say.”
