1964 was the year of the British Invasion.

Could 2009 be the year of the Swedish Invasion?

It will feel like it this November, when Peter Bjorn and John team up with El Perro Del Mar for a cross-country tour.

The indie-pop trio has kept busy this year with a new album (Living Thing), new fans (Depeche Mode), new remixes (courstesy of GZA and Three 6 Mafia), and even a new iPhone app (also called "Living Thing").

Meanwhile, the dulcet-voiced singer (aka Sarah Assbring) was barely back from a long tour before she started writing what would become her third album, Love Is Not Pop, out in October.

You’ll get a piece of both during the 13-stop tour, which brings the Swedish line-up from Washington D.C. to Los Angeles, and everywhere in between. Consider this your ear-pleasing alternative to a trip to Ikea.
