For those who've forgotten the clues from Carmen San Diego:

On August 20, 1959, Hawaii was ratified as America's 50th State.  That means last week, the island chain celebrated a major birthday, honoring its legendary beaches, its smoking volcanoes, and its rich Polynesian culture.

Where in the World is Carmen San Diego? OMG. Born 1989, that was one of my favorite shows as a kid. I just don't get the reference.???

I have vivid memories of getting a clue saying Carmen's thieves were hiding out in the 50th State. But I'm talking about the video game and NOT the TV show! (from the red sea to greenland they'll be singing the blues...)
