WORKING GIRL

Scrub down with witch hazel, rose oil, and a whiff of no-nonsense.

It would be pretty cruel if a beauty company called itself "This Works" and then sold total crap.  Which is why we're so grateful the British beauty line is actually true to its name.

The skincare brand believes in the principles of conservation and aromatherapy, and emerged in London five years ago with mastermind Katy Phillips, a writer whose most recent book, The Spirit of Yoga, is an intercontinental bestseller.

But you probably care way less about inner peace than you do about great skin, so just know this:

Clean Skin gets summer makeup grease off your face without scrubbing; Skin Deep Dry Leg Oil helps keep shaving to a minimum; Turbo Balm is similar to Kiehl's (our favorite), but with a hysterical name.

It's all (finally) sold in the US, and yes, fine, it works.
