Givenchy wants big mouths to go designer this season.
Big lips are going designer this season with the launch of Givenchy’s Gloss Interdit.
Unlike a tube of Lip Venom, which has the mouth-plumping motto of, “No pain, no gain,” Givenchy is using high-watt shine and water-sucking molecules to amp things up. The gloss is mixes pearlescent particles and crystalline beads that help reflect light with microspheres of hyaluronic acid (which soak up water and swell up to over 50 times their original size) to make lips look bigger.
The tubes also one-up the stinging beauty staple by coming in a range of colors; from the cherry red “Rouge Passion” to the bubblegum pink “Glamorous Fuchsia” to the glittery grape “Velvet Purple”, it’s hard to not find something in your closet to go with the 15 different shades. And because this is a haute fashion house that outfitted Holly Golightly, the formula is rich without being sticky.
It might not give you the charms of Capote’s famous party girl, but Gloss Interdit will make your lips the center of attention.
