Tarte's latest palette brings new meaning to the term "dangerous beauty."
Yesterday, NYLON style director Dani Stahl emerged from the fashion closet with a white Dior handbag covered in steel studs. We swooned, then checked the price tag - about $2k.
This weekend, we had another love-at-first-shop experience with Roberto Cavalli's new handbags, made from gleaming pink leather and also dotted with biker studs. Designed by Cavalli's daughter Rachele (whom, it must be said, is too gorgeous for her own good), the purses sell for $1500 each.
And then there's Tarte, the innovative beauty line whose Cheek Tint made blush more than just an afterthought. Their latest toy is a multi-color makeup palette, covered in gold studs.
It may not be as roomy as the Dior or Cavalli bags, but the compact - called Femme Fatale - does manage to place ten shadow hues and two eyeliner colors into one small space. It retails for $44, and can fit into your Dior or Cavalli studded handbag - just in case you can actually buy one.

I think it sounds fun, you're paying for a name, product and style.
44 dollars is fine, check the hardware on the the packaging, the liner it comes with and shadow brushes (2 different styles and sizes for different looks) Usually those things come separate, and if they don't they're the cheap, tiny ones.
Think beyond the price.
