I love lip gloss.
I hate germs.
And don't roll your eyes at me; you know what I'm talking about: you see a tempting pot of sparkling gloss, you dip your finger in just once, and then - ew. Even without the swine flu hysteria still sweeping America, it's not a pretty (or sanitary) thought.
But the brilliant Poppy King invented a solution. The former creative director of Prescriptives and founder of Lipstick Queen has new lip pencil filled with a sheer colored gloss. Called the Chinatown Glossy Pencil, it comes in five colors named for
film noir terms, including Crime (hot pink), Mystery (deep purple), and Thriller (blood red).
The hues might look bold in the graphic, but these things are easy to layer, so you can get a subtle coat of orange gloss (known to Poppy and co. as "Genre") or keep coloring for a bright crayon lip.
And since they come with their own sharpener and work like any other pencil, you won't have to use the one thing that might bug you - your fingers - when piling it on.
