Talk about hip to be square: For summer, mark cosmetics is offering up an eye shadow palette that’s like a Mondrian painting for your face.
The trios feature colors set within colors—so “Jungle Love” goes from a mint shimmer to a muted gray to a jewel tone green. Like a good painting, the three different palettes feature shades that sound like they’d look bad together, but actually look pretty cool. Cobalt blue paired with baby pink and black? Yeah, that just might be our new favorite color combo.
The trios are so visually appealing that you’ll be tempted to just look, and not touch. Which is okay, since at $7, you can afford to get one for your face and one for your wall. That’s thinking outside the box by staying inside the box.

Actually I think these compacts resemble Joseph Albers more than Mondrian. =)
