I AM A PLASTIC BAG
This month's jelly trend isn't just about your shoes...
Much fuss is made over the evils of plastic bags - Anya Hidmarch made a famous bag proclaiming their death, San Francisco passed a law banning them from supermarkets, and we've even found some Facebook groups devoted to their doom.
And yet, the plastic bag is not all bad. Consider Mulberry's recent plastic tote, designed by the artist Julie Verhoeven - it's just as reusable as a canvas tote, and twice as cool. Marc Jacobs made a similar PVC carry-all for waterproof trips to the pool or beach, and at Free People, they've taken plastic rice sacks from Mexico and recycled them into day bags.
Below are our favorite picks, which you should absolutely use to carry groceries or clothes instead of those other plastic bags - you know, the ones that aren't as cute.

thats pretty badass sanfran banned them! I wish that would happen nation wide so mabey we could actually help this planet out, I work at a big retail store and its pathetic how many plastic bags i see wasted everday. jesus people buy a reusable tote for two dollars and stop being ignorant.

The yellow handbag with the big eyes is extremely cute. they should have all sorts of those bags. except different animals and colors. myabe add little bear ears that come off the top. that would be adorable:)
