DANGEROUS WHEN WET
Dry shampoo gets a new product - for the shower.
Cleaning your hair used to be simple: wet, scrub, repeat.
But not everyone had the time to shower every day—and not everyone’s hair looked best when they showered every day. Now, dry shampoos are reaching new heights; namely, affecting the very products they were supposed to replace. Meet Pronto Wet shampoo and conditioner from Oscar Blandi, a duo meant to be used on your off days—that is, the days you’re not dry shampooing. As the first products built to maximize dry shampoo, the Pronto Wet line helps keep hair clean and scalp healthy, with all-natural ingredients like Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein and Grape See Oil. As for the biggest complaint about dry shampoos—that they leave locks limp—the Pronto Wet products do a surprisingly good job with; to say my hair had some lift would be an understatement.
As to providing an equally eco-friendly alternative, which many people consider dry shampoos to be since they save water, Oscar Blandi made the wet shampoo and conditioner sulfate, paraben, and petrochemical free. That its lemon verbena fragrance smells a bit like wood cleaner is the only downside to an otherwise groundbreaking product.
