JUICE COUTURE

Do you want your manicure to smell like your OJ?

Last month, bloggers buzzed a new rumor: Revlon would launch scented nail polishes, named (and smelled) after fruit.  There would be white lacquer for coconut, and red for cherry, orange for mango, and violet for grape.

The whole thing sounded a bit fantastic, like a Willy Wonka scene cut from the movie.  But then a funny thing happened: The polishes actually hit shelves.

You can buy them now, for about $7, at your local drugstore.  But despite their novel scent, we'll give you the same advice your friends have doled out for years: enjoy, but don't inhale.

I think the idea is great! But they would have to get it to actually smell 100% like fruit not like some crappy cheep plasic yucky smell! But the idea is something new,and sounds appealing.

Revlon usually makes good products so I trust that the scents will smell close to the real thing with a hint of chemical. I want to try cherry. Now I'll be sniffing my nails in class like a wierdo!

Ugh. Revlon. Revolutionary idea, but of course, some moronic preteen is going to go and snuff the entire bottle, then end up with brain damage. Kudos, love. I am sure everyone here is smart enough not to inhale while the paint isnt dry, but watch out for your kids/sisters/brothers/whatever.
