That my friends suggest I open a nail salon inside my apartment tells you just how many polishes I own. It’s not quite an obsession, but it’s pretty close—and only eclipsed by my collection of shoes (crawling up my closet wall rack and spilling onto the floor).
So China Glaze’s new nail polish collection caught my eye because it’s proof that I’m not the only one with a problem. Called “Kicks”, the twelve-shade series is inspired by sneakerheads and the shoes they wear.
No surprise, then, that the colors are nearly as bright as what you’d see in the window of Alife, from watermelon green “Entourage” to vivid magenta “Fly” to warm orange “Oh How Street”.
Like a good pair of sneaks, China Glaze polishes are usually only available at salons and beauty supply stores, but we’ve found a site that sells them by the bottle. So you really have no excuse for getting the whole collection—although we definitely wouldn’t blame you.
