NYLON celebrates a decade of awesome with the biggest party in New York.
How many hipsters does it take to blow out birthday candles? About 400 - at least if it's the candles at NYLON's tenth anniversary party. The packed bash last night at Shang had movie stars (Amber Tamblyn, Alexis Bledel, Zack Braff), models (Jessica Stam, Harley Viera Newton), It Girls (Leigh Lezark, Taylor Momsen, Lydia Hearst), and more eyeliner than David Bowie's dressing room.
At the center of it all were Marvin Scott Jarrett and Jaclynn Jarrett, who founded NYLON in April 1999 with their friend Helena Christensen (who shot a new actress named Liv Tyler for the first cover).
If you couldn't make the party (or get past the line around the block just to get inside), click through some photos to see who showed up. And yes, that's a stiletto that went through our birthday cake. Don't ask...
