A new trend in shoes brings fashion some heavy metal.
Reese Witherspoon may have pulled off the metallic trend on the red carpet this week, but that doesn't mean it's for everyone. If you love precious metal but won't wear a silver mini dress, consider taking it to the streets, literally, with a new pair of gold shoes.
With Spring deliveries finally hitting stores, there's a range of styles and price points with the same asset: any body type and skin color can wear them all. Below, eight of our favorites.

yum!! i love gold. gold is always good! esp. the winged adidas! shut up. the oxfords and the flats and the marc jacobs boot are esp. nice as well. not sure about those clogs though loll

i have a pair of gold old lady keds i bought for a dollar and i'm in love with them. i wanttt those oxfords..

Let the golden age live on! I love these gold shoes. Very fashion forward; avant garde. I just got a pair of some wonderfully gold/metallic high heel booties at Wet Seal. They rock. I totally love them, and I'm excited that gold shoes are slowly spreading! They make almost any outfit very spicy!

Gold is a really tacky color. Hardly anyone can wear it, and when they do they look like cheap hookers. Or getto. Can't there be a better shoe to wear? Especially with those god awful CLOGS. PLEASE don't let them come back, even if they are gold.

those clogs are way nasty, i think even more with the folded white pants to pair them up. other than that and the cowboy boots the rest are pretty much wearable. i do agree with some of you that gold is tacky on most people. i dont really even like gold jewelry. but ah well! love the oxford's!!

we should move on from this trend to another on,... this was "IN" in 2005, dose anyone remember? well we should give it time before its "IN" again... for every day life, red carpets are ok
