Never feel guilty about your makeup remains again.

In the '90s, The Body Shop started a pretty cool program: bring in your old B.S. jars and containers, and they'd refill them for a discount.  The only problem with the program?  If you used Neutrogena soap instead of theirs, they couldn't help you.

Now Origins is trying something new:

Bring in any of your old beauty packaging - regardless of where it's from - and they'll recycle it themselves.

That means your Origins moisturizer jars, your Chanel Mademoiselle bottles, and your empty Lipsmackers tubes can all go to one place, and it's not a landfill.

Go to Origins.com to find a drop-off spot near you starting March 29.  Then on April 2, visit Origins' flagship stores in New York and L.A. with your empty beauty bins.  If you're one of the first 250 visitors, you'll get a free Perfect World moisturizer, made from organic skin lubricants and packaged in recycled plastic.  Naturally.

This is awesome. I always have anxiety about leftover Neutrogena stuff.

This is an awesome idea. I wish more companies would do this.

Origins has been around forever and they are finally coming to the forefront. This has helped them tremendously. I received my free Origins sample for recycling with them this weekend! Thanks Origin for instigating a needed service.
