BETH DITTO NAILS IT

Jane got the Birkin bag, but Beth gets a nail polish.

It's no secret the worlds of fashion and beauty often crash, but when was the last time a beauty company chased a rock star?  If the only thing you could come up with was Beyonce for L'Oreal, then focus:  There's a new cosmetic out, and it's all about Beth Ditto.

Called Black Beth, the new nail polish was inspired by The Gossip lead singer, whose most recent performance was for Karl Lagerfeld himself at Wednesday's Fendi party. 

Black Beth was created by Marianne Newman, a British manicurist whose invention, The Inkredible, is basically a paint pen but with nail polish.  Designed to make it almost impossible to smudge or smear your nails, it's a way better option than the pre-teen strategy of coloring them with Sharpie - though Beth Ditto (and I) have definitely done that, too.
