I liked her in the Messengers and the land of women...but I don't like her attitude, if fans are too scary for you then you shouldn't be an actress. I really wish I could like her but she just seems to be so.. kind of critical of people that do do the whole 'Holywood' thing. If she was really as laid back and 'cool' as she seems to strive to be, then the issue of 'conforming' wouldn't seem to ozze out of her in all her interviews. It's great that she is so confident in what she does and sure of who she is, but maybe she shouldn't be so quick to shut down others. The photo shoot does look awesome though! Loooove the clothes! :) And I do love all of the movies shes in, my favourite is "Speak" by far.

She's annoying and her PR people need to work on her interview techniques. Her interviews are dry; she stumbles and mumbles with words. I think that Kristen's age has a lot to do with her attitude. Like most young stars, She's taken her success for granted. Not wanting to appear at the oscars was a mistake. Was it because she wants to wait until she's in a GOOD movie or was it that she is jealous of Rob and doesn't want to be paired up with him. Why be afraid? Unless she's really afraid of her own feelings. She seems hostile towards the fans..hello? Where would she be without us? Will I watch her playing Joan Jett? Not likely! Do I think that the fans have a right to tell her how to live her personal life and who to date? NO. They would like to see her with Robert because they are good actors. They're caught up in the romance. It's crazy but true. But that's no excuse to blame the fans and the media for putting her and Robert in ifficult "psychotic situtions"! She hates the questions. Ok they're silly ones but no one else is complaining - just answer them! It's quite strange that she would need to look into Rob Pattinsons eyes like a lost puppy in love in order to be protected from the "scary" and "deafening" fans!!! Yadi ~ Kristen's mistake was NOT actually being in Twilight..because she was actually good....Her mistake comes down to her attitude and letting it all get to her! and don't tell me she's not pissed off. You can see it in every interview and every photograph. I personally didn't and don't care who is on twilight - i liked the books but i'm not one of those "deafening" fans she spoke of. I've seen her other films. The point is not whether she is a good actress - she is...but there's a lot more to being a good actress! it doesn't matter if you like twilight or not, it doesn't give her an excuse to be a brat when she's being interviewed. it makes the fans feel like crap. It's not like the fans and the media were putting her down. If she felt threatened it was in her mind. Hey, don't be so harsh on her. I am definitely a fan of the Twilight saga, I loved the books. I saw the movie, and okay... it wasn't all that good. (Sorry, I loved Robert though.) Kristen does seem like she doesn't appreciate all of this sometimes, but come on, of course she does! Who wouldn't!? I think what makes her seem that way is just that she sees how the other teen stars are being viewed, and she doesn't want to be put in the same category as they are. I don't blame her to be honest. I see how Robert has been compared to that cocky Zac something, and he's far better than that. Those other teen stars don't have personalities, and Robert and Kristen are different. They're better than that. Not because they have been in some indie films or the fact that they listen to real music, but just how they present themselves publicly. Do any of you actually know Kristen??? Didn‘t think so. Also her dad clearly stated she’s not in it for the $ or fame. Being in the spotlight can be tough and although she signed up for it by being an actress in the first place, it seems to me like she’s handling it well. If you look back on her interviews from the Panic Room, she seems pretty much the same. Imagine she knew who she was at that young an age. It sure doesn’t seem like the Twilight fame has changed her still confident self. I’m glad she’s not fake plastic like all the Disney stars, she’s better than that. It seems like she's a fairly honest person and that's usually a good quality in everyone's book.

Kristen is not a newborn in the entertainment industry. She's been an actress for a long time and her family is in show biz so she knows how the game is played. She knows publicity plays a major role in the job whether she likes it or not. It should not be such a surprise to her that she has to answer the same stupid questions over and over. I’ve tried to ignore her negative comments and arrogant attitude for a very long time hoping she would eventually get over it but she just gets worse! Why doesn’t Summit or someone help her find a way to express herself so she doesn’t come off so negative and condescending in her interviews!? Rob always expresses his feelings about crazy fans and the chaotic situations with humor, astonishment, and concern for the safety of the fans and himself. He’s never been condescending, arrogant, or called us names like Kristen. ..seems like she’d learn by his example. I once knew a guy in school who thought he was “so cool his s**t didn’t stink” and sometimes that little phrase comes to mind when I read her interviews or watch her on live media. I think the Academy Awards was a perfect example of her arrogance. She and her dad certainly have a right to their opinion about Twilight being good or bad…that’s not the problem. The problem is she attended the Oscars and apparently felt it was beneath her to be publically associated with Twilight just because it’s not a “great” film. Ok for starters the interview was really good. I like the nylon look for Kristen, all i've seen is vanity fair and teen pop stuff. This was a nice change, more Kristen. I have a theory about this whole thing and here it is: I think that Kristen is being controled by a few people in her life and she feels trapped and wants to rebel. She's crying out for help- help to be herself and independent. it's normal at her age. so, I think her dad runs her career and HE wants an academy award winning actress daughter to brag about and doesn't want her to be just another teen idol. I've come to really love Kristen Stewart, I think her personality is fantastic, she's not full of herself, if anything I find she's very timid around people. ok i haven't read all of the long comments because they go pretty boring but what i did read i totally disagree with. kristen is the first teen actress to actually act like a teeneager, both on screen and in real life. what normal teenager is happy and smiley all the time? being a teenager is about getting to know yourself, going through bad times as well as good times, and so many teenagers suffer from insecurities, i can guess kristen does too. she's awkward but it's endearing, at least she isn't some fake bimbo america usually produces. she's already stated that she had no knowledge of the twilight hype, so you can't really put her down for taking the part. i think she did a good job playing bella, since in the book as a character she's weak, has no depth, and mentions edward's good looks every five lines. i don't see why kristen gets so much shit, i agree she looks great with rob but they're both saying they're just best friends so i think people should leave her alone, she's obviously hating the attention.

I don't think Kristen is dumb, but I'm not sure why people think she's so smart because of the "big words" she uses in interviews. I learned all of those so-called "big words" in eighth grade. I don't know if it's just her young age, but Kristen does come across as being fake. I don't believe for a second that she acts strictly because she likes acting. If that were true, then why is she acting in movies in the first place? You never know just how popular a movie (indy or mainstream) will be. So if truly cannot stand being the center of attention, then why does she act in movies? Why not stick to stage acting where you still get to act and maintain a lot of anonymity? People who pursue Hollywood careers are narcissistic by nature--some more than others. The only difference between Kristen and other actresses her own age is that the other actresses are honest about wanting fame. She's trying to seem like she's above it all when she's not. She needs to face the facts that Twilight did wonders for her career. If she doesn't like the attention, then she should step down and become a stage actress or work behind the scenes. There a million unknown actresses who would love to take her place and can act at least as well as her. If she wants to continue acting, she should stop whining. Having said that, there is one positive thing I can say about Kristen: she has very striking eyes. She looks amazing in makeup, but ordinary (not ugly) without it.
