UNDER COVER

UNDER COVER

If it can hide tattoos, imagine what'll happen with your under eye circles.

Last year, Rebecca and I were shocked when a reality TV star came out with shampoo - and it was seriously the best we'd ever used.

This year, it's happening again, thanks to Kat Von D.  The outspoken (and - okay - kind of tacky) TLC star has a new makeup tool, called Tattoo Concealer, available at Sephora.  The parabin-free cream comes in three shades, and promises to "erase" tattoos or other skin distractions from the body, without clogging pores or causing irritation.  And it does.

We can't think of a reason why you'd want to cover up your ink, but perhaps some of you have a conservative grandma or two that you'd like to keep meeting for Bingo.  And if this stuff makes tattoos disappear, just imagine it's correcting power on a misbehaving face.

OMG! this is so useful, i just had my first tattoo and my grandma is totally conservative, so this is like so going to work for me! thanks :)

It could be useful if it really does work. For example, maybe you have a wedding to attend and you don't want you're tattoo popping out of the dress. This could be a nice way to cover up for those kinds of situation. :)

I agree with Arianna, weddings would be one, job interview? Make a good impression then spring that rose/snake/skull combination on your neck to them AFTER theyve hired ya ;] haha

no one in my family knows about my tattoos. maybe this can cover up a few, or at least make them less noticeable.

Every one seems to be leaving out the obvious reason, a job interview! Also my friend recently got her first tattoo and about a week later her play opened, she played a Who in Suessical the musical. Her dress was open back and her parents and other family where there she would have benefited from this product.

hey that sounds great, especially for job interviews. now in regards to kat being tacky....kat von d has got her own style, being an individual doesn't make her tacky :)

Definitely weddings and interviews, I have a tattoo on my wrist and this would come in handy if I were to wear a short sleeve blouse! btw, Kat von D is NOT taky.

this is great. There is a time & a place for tattoos and depending on that I like to cover mine.

I've just started substitute teaching, and this is JUST what I need, especially when it is too warm for long sleeves...the tattoo on my wrist is very hard to cover otherwise.

Her entire Sephora line is amazing. NY will never get LA. Kat's got it going on, kids. It's called style; not mass marketed trends.

this is genius. i have a crappy tat and no money to remove it. this will do as i save!

Ali

Why? It would be nice to have every "individual" who gets a tattoo know what they are buying into, and not be ashamed of their beautiful body art! As as tattoo artist, that has a blanket of tattoos, I suggest you "be not ashamed"!

This will come in handy very much so for me. I'm getting my knuckles tattoo'd tomorrow, and I'd like the option of covering them for a job interview sometime in the near future. :] This is awesome, and the whole line by Kat Von D is just striking.

Tattoo cover is really good if you're an actor and need to get rid of ink for auditions. Props to this product!

I'm a model and some people/photographers are picky about my tats showing. I hope this can somewhat hind them if need be!

i'm sure other concealers found at sephora could provide similar coverage. it doesn't need the word 'tattoo' in it. but nontheless, it sounds cool.
