Alex & Chloe wants you to put away your contact lenses.

Geek glasses can be a bit obnoxious, especially when you need actual glasses, but we can't help but like Alex & Chloe's new frames – as long as you really need them.

The LA-based brand, best known for their Kate Moss charm necklace, spent the last year expanding from accessories to apparel, and now eyewear. The Cape Town sunglasses premiered last year, and now they’ve launched as a unisex pair of regular eyeglasses, with a Wayfarer shape, and a choice of black, turquoise, red, and red wood grain. Instead of glancing at a "Made in China" label, Alex & Chloe cleverly inscribes "Oui, il est vraiment moi" ("Yes, it is really me") on the inner temple.

If you’re tired of poking your eyes every morning with contacts, these statement frames are a pleasant option and, at $180, a pleasant price, too.
