FIRST LOOK: THE COMPLETE HELLO KITTY FOR M.A.C
Makeup that's sure to cause a cat fight.
When Hello Kitty announced she'd create her own line for M.A.C, we were a bit stunned - the cat is already Japan's tourism ambassador, a London drama student, and a rock guitarist. Does she really have time to curate lipstick?
Then M.A.C told us that cartoons never sleep, and we felt better about Hello Kitty's sizable efforts: a complete cosmetics collection including compacts and brushes, debuting on February 12.

I think the whole line looks perfect for for HK. If she were to pick a color palette this would be it. As for the comment about her not having a mouth...she never has a mouth.

A.) I don't see what HK not having a mouth has anything to do with anything.
B.) I really love Hello Kitty, but I was invisioning classic Kitty. I think it would have been better than the mod theme. But I still like it.

I personally love hello kitty and M.a.c. products, but not together. I thought maybe an inspired look would be more appropriate for high end cosmetics, not an entire theme and package your products that way. The "package" looks immature and cheap. The idea, look, quality, and color theme are nice though.

First off, let me state that I absolutely adore Hello Kitty and most Sanrio characters...but M.A.C really falls short here. This new line is a huge disappointment. I really dislike the color palette, most especially in the lipsticks. This is NOT classic Hello Kitty at all! This is a gothic/emo looking Hello Kitty and, mind you, it's not very flattering or chic. Anyone who buys this obviously is wasting their money. Just slap some Hello Kitty stickers on better makeup if it matters to you that much! Perhaps this is the way it the advertising campaign was set up; it's difficult to say. Regardless, I would expect better out of both companies to put out a product that lives up to their hype.

eh, it's okay. i agree with the statement that it looks kinda goth-ish. But i love those nail colors. well mostly the silver looking one. haha. i'll probably pick up on that, but otherwise, the colors aren't really something i like...

I dont care if hello kitty is girly, or if its just for little girls. This line is for the young and old. Hello Kitty is classic and older than most heck older than me! And to have MAC and hello kitty together, well what more could you ask for! I am sure I will pick up something.

i'm a big hello kitty fan and i am also attending the debut party at MAC for this product. i deffo plan on buying as much as i possibly can, and i'm really pleased that hello kitty has finally got a real cosmetic line. this is definitely awesome !!

she's not SUPPOSED to have a mouth...it's because she speaks from the heart! i'm not into hello kitty, but the colors are AMAZING! we just saw them at our mac update, and everything is so beautiful. i want them for the colors. it's going to sell out so fast, so get there the DAY it comes out. the stores will have more, like the "kitty kouture" stuff.
