Clyde was her ultimate accessory, but the hat was damn cute, too.

Rumors are swirling that Hilary Duff will star in a Bonnie and Clyde remake, and while we'd bet anything she can handle a gun, the real question is this: can she handle the style?

When the original B&C premiered in 1967, Faye Dunaway had the lead, and a wardrobe to match.  Moll hats, fur coats, and demure suits covered the star as she shot through bank tellers and boyfriends in the classic gangster love story. 

The trend swept, and soon Faye's blonde bob and pencil skirt were all over American girls, even if they didn't own revolvers.  And if Hilary really wants the part, she's got to prove herself worthy of Faye's style icon status.  Here are some pieces to help.
