REDUCE, REUSE, RESTYLE

REDUCE, REUSE, RESTYLE

Bottle feeding the latest fashion.

In  the '70s classic The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, one motto is emblazoned on everything from towels to spaceships to the big book of the title.

The phrase is "DON'T PANIC," and it's good advice, but sometimes hard to take - with major problems happening everywhere, every day, the impulse to keep calm is wearing very thin.

Fortunately, there's Project 7, a new organization committed to combating seven of Earth's biggest problems - hunger, sickness, war, political prisoners, environmental decay, homelessness, and education.

It's a lot to tackle, but they're trying one step at a time: Last season, they released seven water bottles with proceeds going to the causes, and now it's time for t-shirts:

Environmental tees made from recycled plastic bottles (five of them make a shirt) that retail for $22.99.

And since they're cute, you won't have to panic about your wardrobe, either.
