HEAD LINES

Eugenia Kim has the season's sweetest top notes.

There was one prescient moment on the otherwise inane pilot for The City, which yeah, we watch regardless.

It was when Nevan, the seedy and sceney cousin of "socialite" Olivia Palermo discovered her new best friend, the heroine Whitney Port, was hanging out downtown.

"Oh," scoffed Nevan, "Look at me, I'm a hipster!  I wear a fedora!"

It made us all cringe because, despite Nevan's idiotic everything, he was right - we've been downtown, and we've been dressing our heads like Pete Doherty.

Fortunately, there's a new savior in the millinery arena, and she's not in a rock band... or on a reality show.  Her name is Eugenia Kim, and after making hats for runway shows and small boutiques for several years, she's finally blown up.

This Spring, Eugenia launches a giant collection of hats, headbands, headscarves, and oddly pretty combinations of the three.  There are hats for the beach, hats for the bar, hats for church, and even hats for an evening gown.
