LONG WEEKEND

LONG WEEKEND

Cheap Monday has a new collection; we rejoice.

What happens when your favorite denim brand launches a capsule collection of head-to-toe designs?

If the brand is Cheap Monday, you get excited. Very excited.

WKND, the jean geniuses’ new collection, features a Technicolor mix of tops, leggings, and jackets. The spring ’09 patterns range from a black and white mosaic to fluorescent satellite prints, but each piece is classic enough that you can layer and not feel like a walking closet. And in case you like to do that matchy-matchy thing with your boyfriend (or best friend), the collection includes pieces for guys.

Despite the name change, this is still Cheap Monday, so the pieces are still, well, cheap. The one big difference? The WKND collection will only be available through online boutique Tobi.com. Consider this Cheap Monday’s entrance into the digital age.

this stuff is horrible. they are shapes and wild prints. girls that are busty can't wear clothes like these. my shape is different from others in that i am five feet petite and have dd cups. why don't they make clothing for chicks that are shaped differently? also, the colors truly bite and that piece of sliver rubber that they are calling a jacket is ferociously ugly.

photographically these photos are really quite cute, but i just can't see people on the street wearing them and pulling them off like the models.

Ohhh Nylon...."Weekend" existed before "cheap monday"...It's really a shame that people know nothing about their history. it's quite interesting. Do some research.
