FIELD TRIP
Scratch and sniff away from winter.
It was 2001 when we could no longer find Gap Heaven, the scent that shot through every junior high hall since 1995. In suburbia, kids mixed it with CK1 and sprayed it everywhere - at dances, in bathrooms, on their unwilling best friends.
Since then, there hasn't really been a "youth" perfume. Britney Spears got some people to wear Curious, Marc Jacobs got the cool kids' vote with Daisy, and the vintage inclined just stole Chanel No. 5 from their moms. But now it seems we have a contender:
A series of three field-inspired perfumes created by Urban Outfitters. Sangria Rose is spicy and sweet, Ginger Lily is sharp and shy, Vanilla Brandy is easygoing and familiar. Mix them all together and you get a vibrant whiff of Teenage Girl - coming soon to a homecoming near you...
