The last time you made a Christmas ornament, it was probably 2nd Grade. You took spray-painted macaroni, glued it to a picture frame, slid a sheet of crayoned alphabet inside, and voila - your mom was
so proud.
But even though times have changed, and your belief in Santa has vanished along with your dinosaur obsession, you can still make your own ornament. It's just a little more fun this time around.
Starting this week, KidRobot releases a holiday version of their classic Munny, a white plastic creature that you can turn into anything you want. Past artists who've taken a Munny shot include Diane Von Furstenberg, Stephen Sprouse, and Claw Money - now you can scribble on your very own miniature version, and hang it on your Christmas tree / Hanukkah bush / Solstice shrub / whatever.
The Munny costs $13, and comes with a red marker, a green marker, and a plastic candy cane. Dress it up, dress it down, or write your wish list to Santa on it's tummy - hey, you never know...
