Party dresses that will get you through the holiday season - with enough money leftover for gifts.

Some people freak out during the holidays because they’ve spent too much money. Others freak out because they’ve spent too much time with family. But my annual angst is because of clothing—in particular, finding something that I can wear to my relatives’ house that isn’t covered in sequins, hot pink, or lace (which is basically everything I own).

Dorothy Lee’s refined holiday collection hits the mark when it comes to looking presentable without looking like a personality-less clone. With her range of flapper-inspired dresses, silk shirts, and cashmere cardigans, she hits the three major marks: classic color palette, not-too-risque hemlines, and retro shapes that will send your grandma on an “I remember when Katherine Hepburn…” story.

And because almost everything is under $300, you can get a new outfit and still have enough money to gift your roommate the new Marni Stern album. After all, making your parents happy doesn’t mean you can't also rock out.

The shoes in the second to last picture with the button down dress and blazer are to die for.

Cute, but I've seen all of this before.. And I doubt it is because is "vintage inspired", it just lacks imagination. However, I'd probably buy some of it if I had the money.

Clothing that, while not boring, is simply stated. I'm in love with the cream button down camisole.

With enough money left over for gifts? I think not, haha. Raise your hand if you need a job. I am madly in love with this, to say the least.

not impressed... especially since this line seems to be made only for super skinny, skin and bones type of girl.

Oh my god I love this so much. I just wish there were more intricate details such as lace, beads, etc. Anyway, I can't afford it considering I'm only 15.
