It's no secret that NYLON has a little crush on Fred Flare. I mean, what's not to love about getting mail that consists of a cupcake hat or a cheeseburger phone? So imagine our surprise and delight when they decided to open their first-ever store in Brooklyn!
Although the store doesn't officially open until October 24, they had a secret trial run this past weekend and we got a sneak peek at the newest reason to make the trip out to borough. It's like stepping into the website itself: buttered toast wallets, happy ice cream lamps, and two very adorable and excited owners and a general manager who can't wait for you to come check it out. They also promise a great time plus drinks if you come to the store opening night.
The best part about a tangible Fred Flare store is that you get to skirt around those pesky shipping and handling charges, as well as the annoying wait time. Unless you live in Iowa...then you might be better off just ordering online.

Absolutely positively, adore fred flar. Funkified crazy sexylicious most amzing store eveerrr..
