WE'RE BIG IN JAPAN

WE'RE BIG IN JAPAN

In Toyko, the writing's on the walls...

Barbie has her own women's clothing line in Japan, that's on par with Chanel.  Marilyn Monroe has a postmodern building named after her, because of the way the doors curve inward.  And NYLON?  Well, we just have some new billboards.

This week, NYLON Japan unveiled their very first set of ads, in conjunction with the women's department store Parco.

They're pink (naturally) and dotting the city like underground frosting.  So if you happen to be in Japan this month, go say hi to our signs for us, okay?

I'll be sure to thank your billboards on my next trip to Tokyo, because they represent a part of what keeps me going. As a Marine stationed in Iwakuni, Japan, its really motivating when Nylon does stories on places near me. Also, thank you for last months "Turning Japanese" article and many others.

I just saw these billboards a couple of days ago. They totally give Shibuya a nice vibe! Yay for Nylon!

These pictures make me miss Japan (and its incredible department stores) like WHOAH! Shibuya is the perfect place for adorable billboards like this :)
