FRESH AS A DAISY

FRESH AS A DAISY

Marc Jacobs believes all that glitters is gold. Do you?

Few things send shivers down our spine like the words “glitter rollerballI.” So when that very phrase appeared in the subject line of an email in our inbox, we were worried.

Then we saw that the rollerball in question is from Marc Jacobs, and we sighed a breath of relief.

Starting this October, you can get the Daisy Marc Jacobs Glitter Gel Rollerball at Sephora. Rather than turn you into a walking disco ball, the gold glitter is subtle and leaves your skin with a slight glow. And because it also gives you a coating of Daisy’s signature blend of jasmine, grapefruit, and gardenia, the rollerball will make you smell sweet without sending you into sixth grade flashback mode.

And if there’s anyone who can bring back glitter, it’s Marc Jacobs; if he can get legions of women to don see-through pants and reverse heels, then a little bit of gold glitter shouldn’t be too hard.

i love and respect marc so much. i think the glitter will be amazing. if it will be small grained glitter it will be great to wear a v-neck and roll a little on your chest. xo

NO! It looks so tacky. Yes, we wore it in 5th and 6th grade, but would you wear hannah montana stuff now... because it only seems to be the appropriate partner with the glitter?

I love it. But Marc Jacobs could want me to wear garbage and I'd probably be a little bit into it.

i think a lot of the nineties trends were horrendous glitter being amongst the tackier. i did however like a lot of the spinoffs of the style though since it was like all over the runways. preen did a very interesting job with some nineties inspired pieces
