Turn it into portraits.

The Phoenix-based artist makes mosaic-like collages of fashion and culture icons, all by "upcycling" letters, catalogs, and other things obstructing your mailbox each morning.

You've probably got the same crap sticking out of yours - so check out these vivid renderings by Sandhi, and get inspired to get to work.

I am an aspiring artist at my high school and I am definitely inspired by her work. What more could I say than that she's simply amazing :)

This art is amazing... but has this artist ever heard of Green Dimes? They plant a tree every year that you are a member and stop junk mail from coming to your house. There's a counter at the top of the website that shows how many trees they have saved so far....

haha good idea. the portraits are beautyful. But B-FACE is right. Most people are never gonna create collage art (in which case you're supposed to buy magazines and similar to have the paper), SO they would better do art or stop junk mail coming to their houses.

Thanks! Yes, I know Green Dimes very well... but the mail keeps on coming. I also use coupons, catalog covers, old greeting cards, business cards, calendars, etc... whatever paper junk is in the house goes to the studio and is game.
