THE AFFAIR OF THE NECKLACE

Jill Stuart's runway has our fave accessory yet.

There are many things to distract you at a fashion show.

Lindsay Lohan could be sitting in the front row (like at Charlotte Ronson).  The models could be wearing sweaters on their heads (like at Catherine Holstein).  You might have to climb through a white school bus to see the clothes (like at Trovata).

But sometimes, it's just the accessories.

This morning at Jill Stuart is a good example - these jangled, tangled necklaces of beads and glass and string came down the catwalk, and we could think about anything else.

Forget handbags, shoes, and rock star boyfriends - this is the true accessory of Spring '09, and we're getting on the waiting list right now.

Or... you know... trying to make them ourselves with craft store stuff...
