EYE OPENER

EYE OPENER

Say goodbye to your shadow brushes.

In the beauty canon, there’s Maybelline Great Lash mascara, MAC Lipglass, and Urban Decay glitter eyeliner among the greats.

But don’t be surprised if Benefit’s creaseless cream shadow/liner soon joins them.

The pots are the perfect eye hybrid: solid but easy to spread, matte but with a touch of sheen, and rich in color without looking overwhelming, You can apply the color with just your pinkie if, like us, you’re too lazy to invest in nice beauty brushes, and don’t have to worry about getting crushed eye shadow all over your clothing when you travel.

Best of all, Benefit is continually adding new colors to the collection. Joining our favorites, like the ready-to-rock gunmetal Skinny Jeans, this fall are the golden Honey Bunny, pearlescent Recess, and must-have plum Gossip. Their rich colors look great during the colder months, but are still light enough to wear year-round.

In fact, we’ll go so far as to say that you’ll probably start wondering what you were ever doing with powdered eye shadow in the first place. It’s an eye-opening experience, indeed.

the best color by far is "towne car". It's such a dark black and if you do use a brush you can make a really great cat eye. You can also use your fingers to get a messy "i don't care about my makeup but i do" look.

Strut is a dark blue/gray that works really great with blue eyes for a not-so-done look.
