Just when we thought London had enough cool places for us to envy, we're forced to add yet another locale to the list.
Japanese streetwear phenom Bathing Ape just announced plans to open a flagship there in 2009, and it promises to be kind of like Harrods-- if it dyed its hair pink and hung out with the Beastie Boys.
Though Bathing Ape already has a store in London, it's not quite like the Tokyo mega-store, which supplements the brand's hoodies, jeans, and sneakers with a café, art gallery, and hair salon. But the new store promises to swipe a few of those tricks, so if you can't find sherbert colored sneakers in your size, you can find consolation in a killer cheeseburger, or a killer haircut.
We'll admit we're jealous of our Brit counterparts...but we did steal Ed Westwick from them, so we guess it's only fair we wait our turn.
