Last night, an unlikely mash-up happened:
Theory, the million-dollar clothing company with the best little black dresses ever, hosted a sneak-peek performance of
Hair, the theatrical rock concert about peace, love, and damning The Man (and, um, his beautiful $350 khakis).
But somehow, the whole thing was amazing.
Fashion babes camped out with hippie boys. Babies danced with teen theater freaks. And the cast - a group of musical hotness between the ages of 18 and 28 - was so exciting, we figured we'd warn you now:
Come to New York City this summer to see
Hair. It's free (but you have to camp out for tickets in Central Park). It's fun (but you have to get used to the idea of hot, shirtless guys singing rock songs about LSD and pot). And it might inspire you to shred your jeans, tease out your hair, and pile on giant sunglasses and too much jewelry.
Of course, NYLON's upcoming denim issue might inspire you to do the exact same thing, so it's all good.
