SCENT OF A WOMAN
Marc Jacobs has new perfumes. Now go tell your friends.
-
Marc Jacobs is used to shocking people on the runway, and now he’s trying to do it at the cosmetics counter.
He's just altered his popular fragrances to create four new perfumes, each somehow better than the original versions.
Daisy now comes in a black bottle and is much more concentrated, so it can last through summer concerts, summer sweat, summer whatever. And while the classic MJ Perfume still smells the same, it's packaged in a rollerball dispenser, so you can pack for the weekend knowing you'll smell expensive-- but your Reeboks and bathing suits won't.
But if these concentration and packaging tweaks seem too subtle to have you queueing up at Sephora for their August release, think again:
Marc also offers two limited-edition scents, Gardenia and Fig, that isolate the key ingredients in his MJ Perfume and MJ Men.
Maybe it is best to look inward for inspiration-- now if only Marc would reinvent some our favorite MJ outfits from last year to go with our perfume, we'd be set.
