I'M NOT A PLASTIC CUP
Would you guess it's made of porcelain?
Thanks to Anya Hindmarch, Stella McCartney, Hayden Harnett, or The Gap, you've successfully ditched plastic shopping bags in favor of a canvas carry-all.
Now it's time to do the same for your coffee.
Check out the "I Am Not..." cup from DCI design, made out of porcelain and silicone to transport your drinks safely, cheaply, and without any waste.
It's also pretty cool that the cup looks exactly like a normal plastic or paper cup, but it's cooler that after you get a Chamomile break at work, you can throw it in the dishwasher and do it all over again.

Too bad her "environmentally friendly bag she designed is in NO WAY environmentally friendly, neither made from organic materials or fair trade. plus it was cheaply produced in china.see for yourself

But Sara, isn't it environmentally friendly if it stops people from using plastic bags? That's like saying a recycle bin isn't environmentally friendly bc it cant biodegrate!

although it might not be made of the exact "environmentally materials" it's still a start in helping the environment.....so i think it's still pretty cool.

this cup is awesome! just recently saw it at a design convention and it was soo cute!!! i am also torn on the topic of canvas bag that's produced in ways that harms the earth/people... is it ok to produce something that hurts one in order to do something good for another?

They already have those.
They've had them for like ever.
Go to starbucks and buy a cute one...or just head out to target or walmart.
All that is, is a simple coffee cup.

Why dont coffee places just make cups from like flower seeds with a protective liner on the inside?
That would be way better than this.
