We love Lip Smackers, but we also love real, grown-up lipsticks.
And this sucks, since it means carrying a bigger clutch at night, and applying two products, primadonna-style, to have colorful lips that also taste like sugar.
Thankfully, Sephora now stocks Lip Lusts from Pop Beauty, kind of like what would happen if Bonne Bell and Chanel l were forced to produce makeup together. They're bright and sheer, but made with more serious ingredients like vitamin E and hyaluronic acid (that stuff that makes your lips plump).
Try them if you like the "I just finished a cherry popsicle" look, and make sure you warn your friends who are scared of carbs.
