Viktor & Rolf are famous for their theatrical silhouettes, so when Flowerbomb hit the market three years ago, we were surprised—in a good way—to see, er, smell that it wasn’t an edgy scent; rather, it was a mellow floral and vanilla concoction. Which is why you’ll find us across the pond on June 18th, when The House of Viktor & Rolf opens London’s Barbican Art Gallery. The exhibition will celebrate 15 years of tiptoeing the line between fashion and art by showcasing standout pieces outside, overlooking the museum, and in return, the duo has engraved limited-edition bottles of Flowerbomb and Antitode with their signatures.
