They’re sneakers. They’re sandals. They’re Germany’s craziest new import.
Skorts. Capris. Puffers. Clothes that do double duty, whether it be via an extra layer of fabric or a zip that removes excess fabric like hoods, aren’t as much about fashion as they are function. That is, until Marc Jacobs came out with boots with multiple horizontal zippers so you could go from bootie to knee-high in no time. With that concept in mind (yes, laziness), Munich shoemakers Nat-2 are hand-crafting two-for-one sneaker-sandal hybrids, featuring interchangeable colored shoe sections that zip on and off as fast as your mood can change from high to low-top. The line has an international patent on these kicks, but lucky for us, Nat-2 is launching e-commerce on their site very soon.
